Butterscotch Chocolate Chunk and Chip Cookies


What can I say about these cookies besides I kicked them up a notch, by teaming up butterscotch with chocolate chips and chunks and made a super cookie. Grab a glass of milk or whatever you like with your cookies, put your feet up, and enjoy!


Butterscotch Chocolate Chunk and Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  • 10 T room temp unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1⅓ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 6 oz chocolate chunks (used bittersweet)
  • 6 oz chocolate chips (milk chocolate or semi-sweet)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line two baking sheets with parchment paper or Split
  2. Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla in electric stand mixer on high until combined, about 5 minutes, add egg and mix until incorporated
  3. Mix flour, baking, soda and salt in a bowl, slowly adding to butter mixture, turn speed down to low
  4. Add chocolate chunks and chips to mixture until thoroughly mixed
  5. Using a cookie scoop, scoop cookies onto baking sheet with space apart
  6. Bake for 13-15 minutes, moving to bottom rack last five (if baking both baking sheets, just switch them halfway through baking)
  7. Cool and serve!

    Adore this recipe, sorry… that was supposed to be ONE post… not sure how that happened. This cookie looks so good I could eat a dozen in one sitting, not to mention what my Honey would do to a batch! I must make them for him sometime!

      I was using it, but I have been hearing that the newest edition was having trouble. Thanks for the advice!
