Where do you grocery? Is it somewhere close to home, that you stop by a couple times a week, or is it the place by work, that you pick up dinner items before the evening activities start? I have my regular grocery store, but when asked to stop by and see what Family Fare had to offer, I thought I would give it a try.
Family Fare has 8 Omaha locations, from out west on S. 108th St. to Bellevue, so no matter where you live, you can find one near you. Walking in you can find an abundance of fresh fruits and produce, at great low prices. The grapes were 88 cents a pound - you can’t beat that!
While I am not a coffee drink, the Pick and Sip display, filled with a ton of coffee flavors is perfect for the coffee lover in your life. Mix and match, or stock up on your signature flavor and you will be ready for those cooler nights that are around the corner.
Bread - I am a big fan. Family Fare bakes their bread fresh at the location I was at (Bellevue), and that to me makes all the difference. When I want to make my Beef Stroganoff, I want hot, buttery bread to go with it.
Eat gluten free or have a gluten free family member? The selection was huge! In many higher priced stores, you have one aisle and hardly anything to choose from - that is not the case here. You are guaranteed to find something that you need/want.
Those peppers though….
USDA certified meat - cooking for a family can be pricey and you need your hard earned dollars to stretch. With the value packs at Family Fare, you can get what you need at a great price and high quality.
The selection of hot sauces was pretty darn impressive.
Organic baby food - good prices and tons of choices. We all want to feed our kids the best, but the best isn’t always affordable. You get a lot more bang for your buck in the Organic Baby Foods aisle.
Wine - need I say more? I mean who doesn’t deserve a glass (or two) after a long day?
Give the newly remodeled and renovated Family Fare a try - from the yes Rewards card that saves you even more money, to the super sweepstakes that is going on until the end of August, you have more reasons to save (and hopefully win!)
